April 3, 2001 - Barry Bonds hits 7 homeruns in the San Francisco Giants 17-4 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers. April 4, 2001 - Barry Bonds is shot dead at 8:04 A.M. in his driveway in front of his wife and children. The gunman was never found and police say they have no leads. April 9, 2001 - At Barry Bonds' funeral, in front of hundreds of media members, family and friends, Willie Mays and Bobby Bonds deliver a two-hour diatribe against the white media, white baseball fans and white people in general, highlighted by Bobby's profane final sentiment, "...and you motherfuckers had to nerve to kill him on the same day you killed Dr. King. Have you no fuckin' shame?" April 19, 2001 - Unable to overcome the grief caused by the loss of Barry, into whom they both poured their heart and souls, Willie Mays and Bobby Bonds die 40 feet from each other while playing catch in Barry's backyard. They are found by their grandson, Nikolai. August 6, 2001 - The White House receives a memo from the CIA that world-renowned terrorist Osama Bin Laden is planning an attack on U.S. soil, possibly by hijacking airplanes. September 11, 2001 - Four airplanes are hijacked by Middle-Eastern terrorists intent on guiding them into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and the Capitol. The hijackers are overtaken by the white males on each plane, who all would later say that Mark McGwire's homerun record gave them the inspiration "to do the impossible."
November 2, 2004 - John Kerry is elected President of the United States in landslide victory over George W. Bush. Kerry was spurred by his now legendary zinger said during the 2nd presidential debate: "With all due respect, Mr. President, it's obvious to everyone but you that you don't have what it takes to be a leader. Didn't you get the memo?"
July 27, 2014 - Rafael Palmeiro, Jeff Bagwell, Sammy Sosa and the chummy "Bash Brothers," Mark McGwire and Jose Canseco are inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York. Future shoe-in Jason Giambi is shown choking up in the front row.

April 10, 2015 - Surly San Francisco Giants outfielder Nikolai Bonds shoots and kills a would be assassin who was hiding in the woods behind his house. His uncle, Bobby Bonds Jr. notifies the police. |
