Reggie has learned his lesson. He promised not to give any movie with Jada Pinkett Smith in it for more than 20 minutes a rating higher than 2 and ½, because that’s all they deserve.

I decided to change it up this time and take questions from some readers about a film. M:I 3 is the first big movie of the summer blockbuster season and people are all fired up about it. So, let's get right to it.

Q: Was it better than Solo starring Mario Van Peebles? (M.V.P./L.A., CA)

A. Fuck No! I mean, that’s not to take anything away from M:I 3, but Solo was some next level shit. It’s gonna take people at least 20 years to figure out how far ahead of it’s time that movie was. But, all of Mario’s movies are like that. He’s really a great filmmaker.

Q: Is Keri Russell still cute and sad? (Emo Boy/Orlando, FL)

A: Nope. She’s actually pretty intense in this movie. She’s all grown up. If you wanna see her still being Felicity, you should go rent The Upside of Anger. All she does is mope around and cry.

Q: Did you see Tom bouncing wit it on 106 the other day? (your favorite niece/D.C.)

A: Don't be asking me dumb shit on my job, girl.

Q: Are there any good shots of the back Ving Rhames’ neck in this? (Forrest Whitaker/L.A., CA)

A: Yes. It’s hideous. I think he’s surpassed you, Ghost Dog.

Q: HELP ME!!! THEY’RE COMING!!! PLE (Katie/I don’t know)

A: That’s not a question, Katie. I can’t do anything for you.

Q: So, is that hack Fishburne still delivering his lines like he’s playing Morpheus? (Marcus Chong/Zion City)

A: Not in this one. I think Laurence is a great actor and it usually takes every great actor one or two movies to adjust to other characters again after playing the same guy so many years like he did. But, there was one scene where he was a lil’ Morphy. It seems to keep happening when he has to play angry.

Q: Is it a lot of killing in it, young? (Your Boy Dave/D.C.)

A: Yes, nigga! DAMN! I already told you it was a lotta killing in it. That’s all you care about. There are about 40 people who die, dude. People’s brains get blown up, missiles blow people up, people get shot and stabbed and beaten. Go see it and be happy.

Q: Do Tom and Billy Crudup make out? (Random Gay Guy/San Fran)

A: Um, wow…No. But, they did have a certain chemistry, for sure. But, it was hetero chemistry, dude.

Q: Did Ving or Fishburne or any black person die? (Militant Movie Goer/Chitown)

A: No. But, lots of white people died. You’ll be happy with the results.

Q. Why am I not in this movie? I did what they said. (Isaac Hayes/L.A., CA)

A: Too many niggas in this fiction spoil the plot, dude. They already had two black guys. Who were you gonna play? Yourself? This ain’t Ocean’s 15, dogg.

Q: Did my interview ruin this man’s career? (Oprah/Everywhere)

A: Yes. It did.

Q: Is Philip Seymore Hoffman the best thing about this movie (People with IQ’s over 100/The East Coast, San Fran and The Pacific Northwest).

A: Of course he is. Right now, he’s the only actor who does comedy and drama with equal brilliance. He’s worth the ticket.
