Reebok ABCD Camp, Pt. 2.
Taylor King (2007): A few years ago, King burst onto the scene as an 8th grader at this very event, by stealing some of the shine from O.J. Mayo and accepting a scholarship offer from UCLA. He was the youngest recruit in UCLA's history. Since then, his flaws as an athlete have been exposed, he’s become a dominant rebounder, grown about three inches, reneged on UCLA and gave a verbal commitment to Duke. King, in my estimation, is the best shooter in the 2007 class. He's a bit of a ballhog, but damn, if I could shoot like that, I'd be gunning, too. And this nigga's arms are long as shit. I thought AK-47 was the only white guy with extremely long arms. Alex Tyus (2007): Bouncy. This dude got that Shawn Marion shit with him. Ya know, the kinda player that walks on his tip-toes and looks as if he's about jump over someone with every step he takes? He's built like Marion, too, with the wide shoulders and long arms. His jumper is push shoot and it needs to be fixed immediately before he gets too used to shooting it that way, because he actually has good form on his shot, except for the lack of rotation on the ball, which can cause a push-shooter to spray shots all over the fucking place. Jonathan Flynn (2007): Maaaaaaan. This lil' bamma dunked the ball and scared the shit out of everyone. He is going to be everything Jonathan Hargett should have been, because he's not stupid and he listens to people. He's explosive as hell. At barely 5-11, it's amazing that he's actually a pure PG, because dudes his size, with his kind of athletic ability usually go for self a lot. Napoleon-complexes and all, ya know? But, he's different. He's very unselfish and feels no need to show off. After his breakaway dunk got the crowd buzzing, he never dunked again, despite having ample chances. 'Cuse fans are gonna have plenty to brag about. Corey Fisher and Corey Stokes (2007): The Two Coreys, both Villanova commits, both played well in the Senior All Star Game, but it was Fisher who really made people take notice. He scored 28 points in the game, a good portion of which came against Flynn. Fisher is very quick and changes speeds well. I tend to like crafty stop and go PGs. He's a pretty good shooter, but he's only a competent passer. Stokes is an off-guard with a nice shooting touch. He has an NBA body, but a fucked up handle. If he don't get his shit together, he’s gonna be on some Jarvis Hayes shit in a minute. Still, I can't help but like the kid, because he's got a mean streak and plays like opponents said something about his mother. Percy Romeo Miller, Jr. (2008): Yup, Lil' Romeo aka P’s son. No, really, he can actually play. He's going to a D-1 school. U mad?
