I think the title says it all. The purpose of this feature is to criticize Larry Bird, Danny Ainge and Kevin McHale with the same ferocity that Simmons continues to go after Isiah Thomas with. It’s drafting SOFT ASS DAVE HARRISON, who cannot man the middle, leaving J.O. to play center all the fuckin’ time and wear out his body. It’s passing on this list of PGs: DUHON, JACK, RONDO, MARCUS WILLIAMS, FARMAR and LOWRY. It’s keeping Tinsley. It’s signing that sorry, OLD, sorry and old, sorry ass Euro PG with BAD KNEES to a four year, 16 million dollar contract. It’s appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s NBA preview with Ron Artest, smiling like a dumb fuck, when you should have traded his crazy ass that summer and actually got something of value. It’s paying Al Harrington almost 3 million more per season to give you much less than Artest gave you. The Pacers were a contender and he has ruined them. I know he’s white America’s hero and I know y’all don’t wanna shit on him, but let’s stop this madness. It wasn’t “The Brawl.” Stop tryna make that shit out to be some great life-altering moment in history like it’s the day JFK got shot. Bird fucked the team up. He drafts poorly and his signing and trades have been ASS. Period. If Isiah Thomas was still coaching there, y’all wouldn’t be blaming Ron Ron, you’d blame Isiah’s black ass. He should be beaten to death by Michael Clarke Duncan, The Rock and Roll Express and Curtis Enis for what he’s done to Kevin Garnett’s career. The shit is despicable. Where are all those ESPN writers on this one? How come no one talks about this shit? Sam Cassell and #1 for…wait for it….for Marko Jaric and Lionel Chalmers? What in the world!!!!! I'll tell you what, Randy Foye BET NOT be sorry. I like Randy Foye. I thought he’d hit the ground running. But, he looks like ass on a stick right now. How many times can McHale have bad drafts? Williams Avery? Ebi? McCants? PAUL GRANT? Maybe it’s a good thing he LOST HIS PICKS IN 01, 02, 04 AND 05, trying to sign sorry ass Joe Smith under the table. Who knows how badly he woulda fucked up those picks.
